These terms apply to everyone who uses Eventadore — couples, whoever plans with them, and suppliers. Suppliers also accept the supplier terms, which say what their prices promise.
1. What Eventadore is
Eventadore is a marketplace for weddings and other celebrations, run by the company named in our imprint. Couples find suppliers here, plan with them and book them, and pay us a booking fee for arranging the booking. The contract for a supplier's service is made between the couple and the supplier: Eventadore is not a party to it and does not provide that service.
2. Your account
An account is free. Give your own name and an email address you read, and keep your sign-in to yourself. To book, you must be of full age. The same account can plan your celebration, help with someone else's and run a business. You can delete it at any time under Account → Privacy & data; what the law obliges us to keep, such as invoices, we keep for as long as it says.
3. Prices
Searching is free. A price shown for your date and number of guests is what the supplier's own packages and rules give for that day, travel and surcharges included. It is fixed the moment you add it to your planning and is never renegotiated; while a line is a draft you can change only what the page offers, such as the hours or the quantity. Suppliers write their texts once and we translate them automatically; you can always read the original.
4. Reserving and booking
When you reserve a supplier, we authorise the booking fee on your card without charging it, the day is held for you, and the supplier is asked. If they say yes, we charge the fee and the booking is made at the price you saw. If they say no, do not answer by the deadline shown, or the charge fails, the day is released and nothing is charged — and we tell you either way. A supplier who accepts bookings in advance (instant booking) is booked as soon as the fee is authorised. If you pay by bank transfer, the fee comes first: once we have confirmed it arrived, the supplier is asked, and if they say no we send it back.
5. Our fee, and what you pay the supplier
The booking fee is a percentage of the booking value. You see it before you book, and it is contained in the total — never added on top of a supplier's price. It is the only money you pay Eventadore; we invoice it to you, with any VAT included. Everything else you pay the supplier directly: their deposit and the rest, when and how their conditions say. We collect nothing on a supplier's behalf.
6. Who your contract is with
Before you pay, we show you each supplier's legal name, town and country, and whether they offer as a business or as a private person. With a private person, EU consumer protection law does not apply to your contract. The conditions on the supplier's profile — deposit, payment methods and their own cancellation terms — are part of your contract with them. The supplier is responsible for their service.
7. Cancelling
If a supplier cancels, you get the booking fee back in full and see who else is free that day. If you cancel a booking yourselves, how much of the fee you get back depends on how close the date is, under the cancellation terms shown before you booked and fixed with your booking; where there were none, you get all of it back. If you withdraw from the contract under section 8, you get all of it back. Money you paid the supplier directly is a matter of your contract with them.
8. Your right of withdrawal
As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract for our booking fee within fourteen days of making it, without giving a reason. A clear statement to us is enough, such as an email to the address in our imprint; you may use the form below, but you do not have to. If you withdraw, we refund everything you paid us for that booking within fourteen days of receiving your withdrawal, by the same means you paid. If at checkout you asked us to carry out the booking straight away and confirmed that this ends your right of withdrawal, it ends once the booking is made (§ 356 (4) BGB); we keep the words you confirmed with the booking.
9. Model withdrawal form
To the company named in our imprint, at the address given there: I/We (*) hereby withdraw from the contract concluded by me/us (*) for the provision of the following service (*): Ordered on (*): Name of the consumer(s): Address of the consumer(s): Signature of the consumer(s) (only if this form is sent on paper): Date: (*) Delete as appropriate.
10. Messages, reviews and what you post
Until a booking between you is paid, phone numbers, addresses, links and handles in messages are hidden, for both sides. Only the couple who booked and paid can review a supplier, after the celebration, and a review cannot be changed once it is written. We hide a review that breaks the law or these terms, and it then stops counting. What you post — photos, texts, your wedding website, your guest list — stays yours: you need the rights to it, and you allow us to store, show, crop and translate it for as long as running Eventadore needs. Only you enter your guests' addresses, and we write to them only when you press send.
11. The assistants
The AI search and the planning assistant choose from our own listings; names, prices and links come from our records, never from the model's words. They can still misunderstand what you meant, so check a suggestion before you book it.
12. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaching an obligation essential to the contract, and only for the damage typical of such a contract and foreseeable when it was made. We are not liable for a supplier's service. Eventadore runs over the internet: we work to keep it available, but cannot promise that it always is.
13. Changes, applicable law and disputes
We may change these terms for the future and will tell you before a change takes effect; a booking keeps the terms of the day it was made. German law applies; if you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection of the country you live in still protects you. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
