Your guest list is where every invitation, reply and seat comes together. Here is how it works, from the first name to the last thank-you card.
Households, not just names
Guests are kept in households: the Webers, Julia and Tom, Oma Lisl. A household is what gets one invitation and one reply. Add each person in it, mark a plus-one if they may bring someone, and say whether they are an adult, a child or a baby.
Events
A wedding is often more than one moment: the civil ceremony, the church, the party, a brunch the next morning. Add each one, and choose which households are invited to which. Each guest answers for each event they are invited to — and only sees those.
Replies
Every household gets its own link. It opens their invitation with their names already in it, the events they are invited to, and the reply form:
- coming or not, person by person and event by event
- what they would like to eat
- the name of their plus-one
- a note for the kitchen, such as an allergy — only if they tick the box to share it, and only you can read it
You set the date replies close. Until then, a guest can change their answer from the same link. Every reply lands in your list the moment it is sent.
How many are coming
The list counts who said yes for each event. Your Planning still uses the party size you set; when the replies are in, you decide whether to update it.
After the day
Each household also gets a link to send you their photos of the day. It opens on the day of the wedding and stays open for six months.
